A high-level delegation of the National Railway Mazdoor Union (NRMU – CR/KR), led by Com. Venu P Nair, General Secretary, paid a formal courtesy visit to the newly appointed Hon’ble General Manager, Central Railway, Shri Vijay Kumar, on his assumption of charge. The delegation extended warm congratulations and best wishes to Shri Vijay Kumar for a successful and impactful tenure. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and constructive dialogue. Key workforce issues were brought to the table, including long-standing challenges and proactive suggestions aimed at fostering a harmonious and efficient working environment. The Hon’ble General Manager gave a patient and positive hearing, assuring the delegation that employee welfare and redressal of grievances—especially regarding Compassionate Ground (CG) appointments— would be treated with utmost priority. Shri Vijay Kumar emphasized the need for strong collaboration between the Administration and the recognized unions like NRMU, to jointly address operational and HR challenges in the years ahead.
