Courtesy Meeting with the General Manager, Central Railway*
A delegation of the (NRMU CR/KR) led by its *General Secretary Com. Venu P Nair,* had the honour of a customary courtesy meeting this evening with *Shri. Vivek Kumar Gupta General Manager, Central Railway* in his official chamber, on the occasion of his promotional transfer as Member (Infrastructure), Railway Board, Ministry of Railways.
During the meeting, Com. Venu P. Nair, along with the full delegation, conveyed their heartfelt congratulations and exchanged warm complimentary greetings with the General Manager. Recalling his illustrious tenure, the General Secretary fondly acknowledged Shri Vivek Kumar Gupta’s consistent and constructive interventions in addressing the grievances of railway employees, his humane and compassionate approach towards the lower strata of the workforce, and his exceptional administrative acumen in leading the team of officers of Central Railway.
The delegation placed on record its deep appreciation for the General Manager’s cordiality, cooperation, and unwavering commitment to maintaining harmonious industrial relations within the establishment—qualities that have earned him immense respect and admiration among the workforce.
Responding befittingly, the General Manager reciprocated the sentiments with warmth and dignity. He expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to Com. Venu P. Nair and the NRMU delegation for their gracious gesture and heartfelt wishes. Appreciating the dynamic and purposeful leadership of Com. Venu P. Nair, Shri Vivek Kumar Gupta acknowledged the constructive role played by the Union in fostering a healthy and cooperative industrial environment in Central Railway.
The meeting concluded on a cordial note, reflecting mutual respect, shared values, and a collective commitment to the welfare of railway employees and the institution at large.
