The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Verna branch of Konkan Railway was successfully held on 10th September 2025 at the Community Hall in Verna. The meeting commenced at 11:30 hrs and witnessed an enthusiastic and large turnout of staff members. The meeting was presided over by Com. Vijay Kumar, Branch Chairman. The welcome address and opening remarks set a positive tone for the proceedings. The chief guest and main speaker, General Secretary of NRMU, Com. Venu P. Nair, addressed the gathering in a comprehensive and inspiring speech. He covered a wide range of issues related to the Konkan Railway, including workers’ rights, organizational challenges, recent developments, and future strategies. His speech was well-received and appreciated by all present. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Com. Saju Paul, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, members, and volunteers for their participation and support in making the AGM a success.
