The Divisional Council Meeting of Solapur Division was successfully held today at Pandharpur from 11:30 hrs to 15:30 hrs.
General Secretary, NRMU, arrived at PVR from Miraj by road at 09:00 hrs and inspected various venues for the Open Session, Delegates Session, and Women Session. He also reviewed arrangements for water, charging points and other logistics for the successful conduct of the AGM of NRMU CR/KR at PVR in the last week of October.The DCM commenced with a floral welcome with bouquets by the Divisional Council and all branches. The meeting was chaired by Divisional President Com. S L Kamble. Divisional Secretary Com. Rajiv Purushotham delivered the welcome address, followed by reports from all Branch Secretaries. The proceedings were conducted by the Divisional President.
In his address, com Venu P Nair, GS/NRMU emphasized the need to strengthen membership and asserted that reasonable demands must be achieved through agitational programmes if the Administration fails to concede them in a proper manner. He called upon all members to gear up for the successful conduct of our AGM.
