A STEP TOWARDS BETTER HEALTHCARE FOR THE RAILWAY FAMILY
On 08.10.2026, the Central Railway Employees’ Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. donated a modern, fully equipped ambulance to the Konkan Railway Health Unit, Verna, in response to the genuine requirement of KRCL Administration.
The ambulance was formally handed over by Com. Venu P. Nair, GS, NRMU (CR/KR) to Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, CMD, KRCL, at a ceremony held at Verna.Speaking on the occasion, Shri Jha appreciated the Society and NRMU leadership for this valuable welfare initiative. Com. Venu P. Nair highlighted the Society’s continued commitment to the health, welfare and well-being of Railway employees and their families.The ambulance will strengthen emergency medical support and ensure safe, timely transportation of patients, particularly during critical situations.Service • Welfare • Solidarity
