A MEMORABLE JOURNEY OF WORKERS’ UNITY & INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY
A delegation of AIRF, headed by our respected General Secretary Com. Shiv Gopal Mishra Ji, along with fellow comrades, visited Egypt as part of the bilateral exchange programme with the General Trade Union of Railway and Underground Metro Railway Workers, Egypt.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to understand the working conditions, challenges and problems faced by railway and metro workers in Egypt, while also sharing experiences and perspectives on the Indian Railways. The warm welcome and exceptional hospitality extended by our Egyptian comrades made the visit truly special.
Beyond the official interactions, our Egyptian friends also introduced us to the rich culture, glorious history and heritage of Egypt, making the journey both meaningful and unforgettable. It was indeed a fantastic and superb experience – a beautiful example of how workers across borders can come together, learn from one another and strengthen the bonds of international trade-union solidarity.
Workers may belong to different nations, but our struggles, aspirations and unity know no boundaries.
